A firm requested reimbursement of its protest costs pursuant to its protest of an Army Corps of Engineers contract award, contending that the Corps took corrective action in response to its protest. GAO held that the: (1) Corps planned to reinstate the original contract award, pursuant to a successful protest of its corrective action; and (2) claimant was not entitled to reimbursement of its protest costs, since the basis on which the protester claimed entitlement no longer existed. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
