Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest of an United States Marshals Service (USMS) contract award for court security services. GAO had held that USMS: (1) reasonably evaluated the awardee's proposed unit prices and performance costs; (2) properly determined that the awardee's bid met the solicitation's requirements; and (3) conducted adequate discussions. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that USMS improperly: (1) evaluated the awardee's total bid price; and (2) ignored deficiencies in the awardee's bid. GAO held that the protester failed to show any legal or factual errors that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
