[Request for Reconsideration of Dismissed Protest Against Navy Award]
B-241336.3: Dec 14, 1990
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest against a Navy solicitation. GAO had held that the protester failed to state a valid basis for protest. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that: (1) it never saw the decision; and (2) GAO should investigate the Navy's procurement actions. GAO held that: (1) the protester untimely requested reconsideration 2 months after the decision was issued; and (2) investigations were not a part of its bid protest function. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
