[Protest of Air Force Schedule Contract Award for Storage Devices]
B-240884: Dec 21, 1990
- Full Report:
A firm protested an Air Force schedule contract award for storage devices, contending that the Air Force improperly engaged in auction techniques by advising the awardee of its price standing under the General Services Administration's schedule contract. GAO held that the Air Force properly accepted the awardee's schedule price, since purchase schedule procedures did not require a common cutoff date for receipt of best and final offers. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
