A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of any General Services Administration (GSA) contract award for door repairs and emergency lighting. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after it knew the basis for protest. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that: (1) it timely protested, within 10 days after GAO received its letter requesting permission to file a protest; and (2) GAO should consider the protest, since GSA acted in bad faith by not allowing it to view the bid documents. GAO held that the protester failed to: (1) show any factual or legal errors in the original decision; and (2) diligently pursue information forming the basis of the protest, since it declined an opportunity to inspect the bid documents. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
