[Protest of GSA Rejection of Bid]
B-218407: Apr 4, 1985
- Full Report:
A firm protested the General Services Administration's rejection of its bid as being nonresponsive, arguing that it should have been allowed to correct its bid errors. GAO noted that the protester had offered an acceptance period in its bid which was shorter than the required period in the solicitation. GAO held that such errors are material to a solicitation and cannot be corrected after bid opening. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
