The agency recommended waiver of the recovery of annuity payments erroneously paid to the widow of a retired military member. The erroneous annuity payments made under the Survivor Benefit Plan may be considered for waiver since there was no fault by the widow and a showing that recovery would result in financial hardship to the widow.
