A decision was requested concerning the payment of disability pay and allowances to an Army reserve member who sustained injuries while on leave during his annual training. Although the member was on leave, the injury was considered as sustained in the line of duty. Since he was not fit for duty in any capacity between the date of the injury and hospitalization, the member was entitled to disability pay and allowances during that period.
