ON THE BASIS OF STATEMENTS OF FACT IN YOUR LETTER OF NOVEMBER 7, 1955, AND THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FURNISHED, INCLUDING THE COMPANY'S WORKSHEET AND EXPLANATORY LETTER OF NOVEMBER 1, 1955, THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT THE COMPANY MADE A BONA FIDE MISTAKE IN COMPUTING ITS BID PRICE, AS IT PROMPTLY ALLEGED UPON BEING REQUESTED TO VERIFY THE BID.

ACCORDINGLY, SINCE THE CONTRACTING OFFICER BELIEVED THE BID WAS ERRONEOUS AND SINCE SUCH BELIEF WAS CONFIRMED BY THE COMPANY'S EXPLANATION PRIOR TO AWARD, THE BID OF BRANDAU CRAIG DICKERSON CO. SHOULD BE DISREGARDED.

THE PAPERS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BIDDER'S WORKSHEET AND ITS LETTER OF NOVEMBER 1, 1955, ARE RETURNED.
