Highlights

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has been noted for allowing impounded funds to lapse. With this in mind, GAO will monitor the impounded budget authority amounting to $600 million authorized for the HUD state housing financing and development agencies which was proposed for rescission in the President Eighth Special Message.
