Delays in Implementing the Section 802 Program by the Department of Housing and Urban Development

This document discusses concern over delays in implementing the Section 802 Program by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). GAO was asked to determine a date that GAO would be prepared to file a lawsuit pursuant to section 1016 of the Impoundment Control Act of 1974, to compel the release of the Section 802 budget authority.
