A firm protested a Michigan Air National Guard contract award for air base construction, contending that the manner in which presentations/discussions were conducted, the evaluation of its proposal, and the selection of the awardee's higher-priced proposal for award were improper. GAO found that (1) the proposal was reasonably evaluated and (2) there was no prejudicial difference regarding the protester's and Michigan Air National Guard's descriptions of what was stated during the session. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
