MEMBER'S CLAIM FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR LOSS OF WAGES SUFFERED BY HIS WIFE AND LOSS INCURRED ON THE LAST MINUTE SALE OF HER AUTOMOBILE INCIDENT TO THE CANCELLATION (AT MEMBER'S REQUEST) OF ORDERS ASSIGNING HIM TO AN OVERSEAS DUTY STATION IS DENIED BECAUSE NO STATUTE OR REGULATION EXISTS WHICH WOULD ALLOW REIMBURSEMENT. USA: THIS ACTION IS IN RESPONSE TO A TRANSMITTAL DATED MARCH 19. THE MEMBER WAS DIRECTED TO PROCEED ON A PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION (PCS) FROM FORT RUCKER. THE RECORD FURTHER INDICATES THAT SUCH DEFERMENT WAS NOT FAVORABLY CONSIDERED. ALTHOUGH THE MEMBER'S AVAILABILITY DATE WAS EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 16. THE ARMY DETERMINED THAT THERE IS NO AUTHORITY UNDER WHICH IT MAY REIMBURSE THE MEMBER FOR THE LOSS INCURRED IN THE SALE OF HIS WIFE'S AUTOMOBILE AND LOSS OF WAGES SUFFERED BY HIS WIFE AND.
