BY LETTER DATED MAY 23, 1983, YOU REQUESTED OUR COMMENTS ON PROPOSED REVISIONS TO SECTION 1-602(G) AND (N) OF THE DEFENSE ACQUISITION REGULATION. THE PROPOSED REVISIONS WOULD PROVIDE THAT A DEBARRED OR SUSPENDED CONTRACTOR IS EXCLUDED FROM CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITH THE GOVERNMENT AS AN AGENT OR REPRESENTATIVE OF ANOTHER CONTRACTOR DURING THE PERIOD OF DISQUALIFICATION. THIS REVISION WOULD CONFORM WITH SECTION 1- 602(E), WHICH DEFINES CONTRACTOR, IN PART, AS "ANY INDIVIDUAL OR LEGAL ENTITY THAT *** CONDUCTS BUSINESS WITH THE GOVERNMENT AS AN AGENT OR REPRESENTATIVE OF ANOTHER CONTRACTOR."

WE HAVE NO OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED REVISIONS.
