A firm protested a Marine Corps contract award for food services, contending that the Marine Corps' evaluation was unreasonable. GAO held that the: (1) Marine Corps' evaluation of proposals was reasonable and consistent with the applicable evaluation factors; and (2) Marine Corps reasonably concluded that the technical superiority of the awardee's proposal warranted payment of the associated price premium. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
