A firm requested reimbursement for its protest costs pursuant to its protest of a Navy contract award for system integration services. GAO held that the protester was not entitled to reimbursement for its protest costs, since the: (1) Navy promptly implemented corrective action in response to its protest; (2) the lengthy discussions were due to valid Navy concerns about the protester's cost proposal; and (3) protester was not prejudiced by the Navy's alleged delay in reevaluating its proposal. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
