[Navy Member's Claim for Spouse's Travel Expenses]
B-261228: Nov 8, 1995
- Full Report:
A Navy member claimed reimbursement for travel expenses incurred by his wife and daughter for out-of-town medical treatment. GAO held that the claimant was not entitled to reimbursement of travel expenses, since there: (1) were discrepancies in the amounts claimed; and (2) was a lack of documentation supporting his wife's expenses. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
