A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest of a U.S. Military Academy (USMA) contract award for mess attendant services. GAO had held that USMA reasonably: (1) evaluated the protester's bid; and (2) determined that the protester's bid did not represent the best value to the government. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that USMA ignored its allegations of bias and improperly evaluated its bid. GAO held that the protester: (1) failed to show any legal or factual errors that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision; and (2) was not sufficiently interested to protest the award, since the awardee's proposal was technically superior and lower in cost. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
