A firm protested a Navy contract award for grounds maintenance and tree trimming services, contending that the Navy improperly permitted the awardee to adjust its low bid price prior to award. GAO held that the Navy: (1) reasonably determined that the awardee provided sufficient evidence of its mistake and its intended bid price; (2) properly permitted the awardee to correct its bid price, since it remained the low bidder. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
