A firm protested an Air Force contract award for a wire harness tester system, contending that the awardee's alternative product was inferior to its brand name product. GAO held that the Air Force reasonably: (1) determined that the awardee's product met the solicitation's technical requirements; and (2) made award to the low bidder. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
