[Protest of DLA Resolicitation for Modular Fixturing Components]
B-260368.2: Jun 21, 1995
- Full Report:
A firm protested the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) resolicitation for modular fixturing components, contending that DLA should have awarded it the contract after it terminated the original contract award, since: (1) DLA took corrective action in response to its protest; and (2) its bid met the solicitation requirements. GAO held that DLA reasonably resolicited the requirement in order to correct a material solicitation defect that unduly restricted competition. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
