[Protest of BIA Cancellation of Solicitation for Project Audit]
B-258788: Feb 13, 1995
- Full Report:
A joint venture protested the Bureau of Indian Affairs' (BIA) cancellation of a solicitation for an audit, contending that: (1) BIA cancelled the solicitation for improper reasons; (2) a BIA supervisor associated with the procurement had a conflict of interest; and (3) the supervisor divulged procurement-sensitive information to one of the other competitors. GAO held that: (1) BIA reasonably cancelled the solicitation because it was defective and BIA might not need the solicited services; and (2) it would not consider the protester's other allegations, since BIA reasonably cancelled the solicitation. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
