[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of Army Contract Awards]
B-257373.2: Jan 23, 1995
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest of numerous Army contract awards for auxiliary power units. GAO had held that the Army: (1) evaluated the bids in accordance with the evaluation criteria; and (2) conducted meaningful discussions. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the Army failed to conduct meaningful discussions with it regarding apparent deficiencies in its bid. GAO held that the: (1) Army was not required to discuss every weakness in the protester's bid; and (2) protester failed to show any legal or factual errors that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
