[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of Army Corps of Engineers Contract Award]
B-256556.2: Dec 12, 1994
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest of an Army Corps of Engineers contract award for runway replacement and lighting. GAO had held that the Corps: (1) properly awarded the contract to the bidder with the lowest evaluated cost; and (2) reasonably determined that the awardee could successfully perform the contract within its proposed performance period. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO failed to consider its protest that the Corps failed to perform a reasonable cost analysis. GAO held that the protester failed to show any legal or factual errors that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
