[Protest of Navy Rejection of Bid for High Resolution Camera]
B-257015: Aug 8, 1994
- Full Report:
A firm protested the Navy's rejection of its bid for a high resolution camera, contending that the Navy should: (1) have accepted its telefaxed bid modification; and (2) not have used telefax procedures to conduct negotiations. GAO held that the: (1) Navy properly rejected the protester's bid as unacceptable; (2) Navy did not timely receive the protester's revised telefaxed bid; and (3) protester untimely filed after bid opening its protest regarding the Navy's use of telefax negotiations. Accordingly, the protest was denied in part and dismissed in part.
