A firm protested two Air Force contract awards for gauging systems, contending that the: (1) technical evaluations were flawed; and (2) award decision was unreasonable. GAO held that: (1) the Air Force made an appropriate cost/technical tradeoff in selecting the awardees' higher-priced, technically superior bids; and (2) both awards were reasonable and in accordance with the solicitation's evaluation criteria. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
