A firm protested the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) refusal to allow its bid correction for airport landing installation services, contending that the correction should have been allowed, since: (1) there was sufficient evidence of its bid error and intended bid price; and (2) it was low bidder. GAO held that FAA improperly denied the protester's request for bid correction, since there was evidence: (1) that the protester's low bid contained an addition error; and (2) of the protester's intended bid price. Accordingly, the protest was sustained and GAO recommended that FAA: (1) correct the protester's bid; (2) make award to the protester; and (3) reimburse the protester for its protest costs.
