The Internal Revenue Service requested a decision on whether employees who perform long-term temporary duty could be reimbursed the cost of premium channels on cable television. GAO held that the employees could be reimbursed for the cable television charges, since the hotels and motels in their commuting area include those services in their charges at no additional cost.
