[Protest of Marine Corps Solicitation for Housing Maintenance]
B-254846.2: Mar 21, 1994
- Full Report:
A firm protested a Marine Corps solicitation for housing maintenance services, contending that the solicitation: (1) was defective because it created undue risk to the bidders; (2) lacked the necessary information so that bidders could intelligently prepare their bids; and (3) gave the incumbent contractor a competitive advantage. GAO held that the solicitation: (1) was not defective; (2) contained sufficient data for prospective bidders to compete on an equal basis; and (3) did not afford the incumbent contractor a competitive advantage. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
