A firm protested a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) contract award for lodging and meal services, contending that the awardee's bid was nonresponsive, since: (1) the identity of the bidding entity was ambiguous; and (2) it was not clear that the individual signing the awardee's bid had the authority to bind the bidder. GAO held that: (1) the identity of the bidding entity was not ambiguous; and (2) DLA reasonably concluded that the individual signing the awardee's bid had the authority to bind it to the terms of the solicitation. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
