[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of NASA Solicitation for Photographic Materials]
B-251719.2: Sep 27, 1993
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest against a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) solicitation for photographic materials. GAO had held that: (1) the protester's business arrangement with the materials' manufacturer did not render the procurement decision unreasonable; and (2) NASA reasonably determined that a single award was more cost effective than multiple awards. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the manufacturer would be the only bidder on the solicitation. GAO held that the protester did not present new evidence that warranted the reversal of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
