A firm claimed reimbursement for its protest costs pursuant to its protest against a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) solicitation for court reporting services, contending that: (1) VA took corrective action in direct response to its protest; and (2) its failure to recover its protest costs would result in undue hardship. GAO held that the protester was not: (1) entitled to reimbursement of its protest costs, since VA did not unduly delay its corrective action; and (2) required to expend its resources to protest the solicitation. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
