[Protest of DEA Contract Award for Moving and Warehouse Services]
B-255006: Oct 21, 1993
- Full Report:
A firm protested a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) contract award for moving and warehouse services, contending that DEA failed to notify bidders of the contract award prior to award. GAO held that DEA: (1) properly awarded the contract without notifying the bidders, since there was an urgent need for the work; and (2) was not required to give prior notification of the award. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
