A Secret Service official requested a decision regarding an employee's claim for reimbursement of attorney fees incident to the sale of his residence at his previous duty station. GAO held that the employee was not entitled to reimbursement of additional attorney's fees, since the: (1) employee decided to use a relocation service company to assist in the sale of his previous residence; and (2) services performed by the employee's attorney were or similar to those provided by the relocation service company. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
