A firm requested reconsideration of its protest of the Defense Fuel Supply Center's (DFSC) cancellation of a solicitation for aircraft refueling services. GAO had held that DFSC: (1) reasonably cancelled the procurement to increase competition; and (2) was not required to award the contract on a single-year basis. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO: (1) unreasonably determined that DFSC properly cancelled the solicitation; and (2) did not require DFSC to award it the contract on a single-year basis. GAO held that the protester did not show any legal or factual errors that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
