[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of Navy Evaluation of Bids]
B-248662.8: Apr 13, 1993
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest against the Navy's evaluation of its bid and subsequent contract award for disposal site cleanup services. GAO had held that the Navy reasonably determined that the protester's bid was technically unacceptable. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the Navy based its evaluation on incomplete information. GAO held that the protester: (1) failed to provide any evidence that would warrant reconsideration or modification of the original decision; and (2) would not have been in line for award even if the information had been available during bid evaluation. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
