[Protest of DIA Contract Award for Microcomputer Products]
B-251105: Mar 8, 1993
- Full Report:
A firm protested a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) contract award for microcomputer-based hardware and software products, contending that the awardee's products were not available in the government or commercial markets as required by the solicitation. GAO held that: (1) the awardee's products were available in government and commercial markets and were not restricted at the time of the award; and (2) DIA properly accepted the awardee's products. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
