[Protest of Air Force Contract Award for Fire Extinguishers]
B-250643: Nov 25, 1992
- Full Report:
A firm protested an Air Force contract award for the installation of fire extinguishers, contending that the: (1) solicitation's specifications were defective; and (2) awardee's product was hazardous and should be rejected. GAO held that the protester: (1) untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after adverse agency action on its initial protest; and (2) was not sufficiently interested to protest, since it was not in line for award. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
