[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of Department of State Disclosure of Prices]
B-251048.3: Nov 10, 1992
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of a Department of State solicitation. GAO had held that the protester was not sufficiently interested to challenge State's disclosure of prices. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that it was an interested party because it had a direct economic interest in the protest. GAO held that the protester: (1) was not an interested party, since it was a prospective subcontractor, not a prospective offerer; and (2) failed to show any legal or factual errors which would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
