A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest against an Army purchase order for coating kits. GAO had held that the protester's alternate product was unacceptable, and the Army was not required to consider a new unapproved product as an alternate item. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the its product was acceptable and would have met the Army's requirements if the Army had not made changes. GAO held that the protester failed to show that the original decision contained any legal or factual errors. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
