A firm protested two Defense Personnel Support Center (DPSC) contract awards for chemical protective suits, contending that DPSC improperly made awards to current, active, mobilization-base producers. GAO held that DPSC properly awarded the contracts to active mobilization-base producers in order to maintain their production capabilities. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
