A firm protested a Navy contract award for painting services, contending that the Navy improperly rejected its bid because its proposed individual bid bond surety was unacceptable. GAO held that the Navy properly rejected the protester's surety as unacceptable, since the protester did not clearly establish the acceptability of its proposed individual surety. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
