A firm protested the Air Force's cancellation of a solicitation for building alterations, contending that the solicitation specifications were ambiguous. GAO held that the Air Force properly: (1) rejected the protester's bid, since it was apparent that the protester misinterpreted the solicitation requirements; and (2) cancelled the solicitation, since there was not an eligible bidder due to the rejection of the protester's low bid and the expiration of the remaining bids. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
