A firm protested a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) contract award for medical scanner maintenance services, contending that VA: (1) improperly evaluated its bid; and (2) should have awarded it the contract. GAO held that VA: (1) evaluated the bids reasonably and in accordance with the solicitation's specified evaluation scheme; and (2) reasonably awarded the contract to the higher-rated, higher-priced bidder. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
