[Request for Reconsideration of Dismissed Protest Under GSA Solicitation]
B-242449.4: Mar 22, 1991
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest against a General Services Administration solicitation for office space. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed its protest. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO improperly dismissed its protest, since it did not timely receive the appropriate information and was unaware of deadlines or comment requirements. GAO held that the protester's late receipt of information was not in itself a basis for reconsideration, since: (1) GAO protest filing requirements were published; and (2) protesters were on constructive notice of GAO regulations. Accordingly, the dismissal was affirmed.
