[Protest of Marine Corps Contract Award for Facsimile Machines]
B-241733.2: Mar 5, 1991
- Full Report:
A firm protested a Marine Corps contract award for facsimile machines, contending that the awardee's bid was nonresponsive, since it did not: (1) include a price for one item; and (2) meet a scanning-width specification. GAO held that the Corps properly: (1) allowed the awardee to correct its bid error, since the error and the intended bid were apparent from the face of its bid; and (2) determined that the awardee's product complied with the specifications. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
