[Protest of DLA Solicitation for Gaskets]
B-241133: Jan 25, 1991
- Full Report:
A firm protested a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) solicitation for gaskets, contending that the solicitation incorporated one of its proprietary drawings. GAO held that: (1) the protester failed to show that the drawing was entitled to trade secret protection; and (2) DLA properly used the drawing, since it contributed to the development of the drawing by providing the protester with a government-owned seal at no charge. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
