A firm protested an Army contract award for security alarm system services, contending that the: (1) specified evaluation factors unduly restricted competition; (2) Army improperly evaluated bids; and (3) Army improperly released its price to the awardee. GAO held that the: (1) protester untimely filed its protest regarding unduly restrictive evaluation factors; (2) protest regarding improper evaluation of bids was academic, since the Army initiated appropriate corrective action; and (3) protester untimely filed its protest regarding the Army's release of its bid. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
