A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest against a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) contractor's subcontract award for a cherry picker. GAO had held that it had no jurisdiction to review the subcontract award, since the subcontract was not made by or for the government. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that NASA engaged in unfair purchasing practices. GAO held that it had no authority to review the subcontract award, which was not made by or for the government. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
