[Request for Reconsideration of Dismissed Protest Against VA Procurement]
B-241394.2: Nov 19, 1990
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest against a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) procurement for elevator maintenance. GAO had held that the protester: (1) failed to show that VA failure to furnish a solicitation adversely affected competition; and (2) untimely filed its protest concerning the VA failure to set the procurement aside for small businesses. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that further development of the record would result in new information that would warrant reversal or modification of the decision. GAO held that the protester did not allege any legal or factual error or present new information that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
